African Beekeeping Resource Centre
ABRC is a not for profit South-based organization registered in Kenya working on beekeeping value chain across Africa through research, education and networking for improved food security and livelihoods. ABRC will provide the necessary expertise in capacity building, networking and advocacy needed to integrate beekeeping as core focus in green enterprise development.
Our Goal is to contribute to environmental conservation, education and development initiatives in Africa.
Objectives:
- To develop and promote strategies and programmes to improve beekeeping along the value chain.
- To develop and promote strategies and programmes that will contribute to the sustainable management of natural resources.
- To research, document and develop appropriate technologies for production, processes and value addition.
- To enhance collaboration and networking with stakeholders along the beekeeping value chain.
